Qantas Expands Perth–Rome Flights

Qantas will increase capacity on its Perth (Western Australia)–Rome Fiumicino route in the summer of 2026. First launched in 2022 as the first nonstop flight from Australia to continental Europe, the service will be extended by eight weeks, with weekly frequencies rising from three to four during the peak summer season.

The adjustment will add 44 extra flights and more than 10,000 seats, effectively doubling capacity on the route. Qantas highlights that the service has quickly become one of its most popular international routes, providing convenient connections via Perth for passengers traveling from Australia’s east coast.
